In collaboration with VP-Research Office and UTM Library; UTMAGS and the Office of the Vice-Dean Graduate will be holding the inaugural UTM Graduate Research Colloquium. This special full-day event will provide the opportunity for graduate students to showcase their work to fellow students, post-docs, and faculty from all departments.

The Colloquium is scheduled on Monday, May 4^th, 2015 from 9:00 am – 5:40 pm in CCT Building, room 1080 and 1140. A dinner will follow at 6:00 pm in the Faculty Club, room 3140-DV.

Graduate students can choose to present either: a 15 minute oral presentation, a thrilling 2 minute thesis talk, or present a poster. As the Colloquium aims to promote a wide variety of academic research on campus, presentations should be geared toward a general academic audience.

A short abstract is required for a talk or poster. Deadline for abstract submissions is Friday, April 24^th, 2015.

The UTM Library is generously offering free poster printing. Please get in touch with Tanya at, tanya.kenesky@utoronto.ca for printing your poster.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top two presenters in each category. Prizes:
