UTM's Association of Graduate Students

Hi UTM Grads,

Your friendly UTMAGS Assistant Social Director here.  I have taken the liberty to register 3 teams for the fall term: Coed Basketball, Coed Indoor Soccer, and Ultimate Frisbee.  I officially need to fill the roster by Friday September 23.  Each team requires just 1 hour per week and the suggested times along with details are listed below:

Coed Basketball Fall

• 5 players full-court. 3 men and 2 women
• Games on Mon. 10 am – 1pm and/or Tues. 9 am – 11am
• Season Starts: Mon. Sept. 26

Coed Indoor Soccer Fall

• 6 players full-court, 2 women, 3 men and a goalie
• Games in Gym A/B on Wed. and/or Thurs. 9am – 2 pm
• Season Starts: Thurs. Sept. 28

Ultimate Frisbee Fall

• 6 players 3/women and 3/men, cross field on the South Field
• Games on Tues. Wed. and/or Thurs. 12 pm – 2 pm.
• Season Starts: Tues. Sept 27

I am allowed to have extras on the roster. However, space is limited, and as such is first come first served.  Please send me an email with your full name and student number and the team(s) you wish to participate in along with your preferred times.

If you haven’t picked up your UPASS for this year yet, a reminder that we’re handing them out until Friday! Check the schedule for distribution times that work best for you.

Hi UTM Grads!

UPASS distribution will begin on Thursday, August 25th, and run until Friday, September 9th. You can obtain their UPASS from the Vice-Dean, Graduate Office located in the Office of the Dean, room 3200-Davis Building.

For new graduate students, ensure you have completed a campus affiliation form, http://www.sgs.utoronto.ca/Documents/Campus+Affiliation.pdf so that you don’t have any issues with obtaining your UPASS!

UTMAGS has booked the sand courts (path across from student center) from 5-6:30 pm every Thursday for all grad students (& all your lab mates) to come play some informal, heart pumping, semi-competitive and, most importantly, fun volleyball.

Come join us in the sunshine for volleyball every Thursday for the rest of the summer from 5-6:30! Hope to see lots of you there!
